Readers' Choice: Sandwich Shops

What is your favorite spot to grab a sandwich in New Brunswick?

A good sandwich, especially when it was exactly what you were craving, can be just so satisfying. So this week's Reader's Choice poll wants to know what your favorite place is to sneak a sub, snack on a sandwich, or grab a grinder.

(OK, fine, we're in New Jersey, we don't have "grinders" here.)

We've drawn our initial list from our "Places" directory on New Brunswick Patch, but we encourage you to post comments suggesting the addition of any places that are not included.

This was a really tough poll to put together, as there are so many spots in New Brunswick to get a sandwich, so we couldn't include them all. That is where we need the readers to come in and leave us comments to let us know if we missed a prime spot.

You may notice the absence of Hole in the Wall Bagels. We decided to let them sit this one out, as they took the Reader's Choice win for Favorite Breakfast spot.

Voting closes at 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments below, and reviews on Patch Places. The winner will be announced by noon Friday after voting closes.

Happy voting!

Jimmy Johns? All the local shops and Jimmy Johns?
My vote is for RU Grill, much better than the grease trucks.

Jersey subs!!! It always fascinates me to watch their assemblyline make sandwiches. They're a well oiled machine. And when they close for a week in the summer, the groans and fits of despair can be heard for blocks. :)

ABP is a terrible poll suggestion. How about locally owned shops only??
