Robbery Gone Bad Results in Shooting

Victims are in critical condition.

Two men were shot around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning during a robbery gone bad in the area of Suydam Street and Remsen Avenue.

According to Sgt. Mark Pappas of New Brunswick Police, the victims, a 24-year-old and a 36-year-old Hispanic male from New Brunswick, were held up at gun point while walking on Suydam Street.

The victims were shot in their upper extremities and are in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

There is limited information on the assailant, Pappas said.
