Suspect Sought in Alleged Molestation of Woman on High Street

Authorities say the suspect molested a 22-year-old woman as she walked home from work on High Street.

Authorities are searching for a male suspect wanted in an alleged attack on a young woman on High Street as she walked home from work.

According to a release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, the 22-year-old woman was grabbed from behind, pushed to the ground and "improperly touched" by a man around 10:30 p.m. on April 27.

The suspect was chased toward Somerset Street by a neighbor who heard the woman scream, but got away near Somerset and Division Streets, the release said.

"The suspect is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic male, in his mid-to-late 40's with a wrinkled face and short, black hair. He is between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and was wearing a dark blue long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans," the release said.
