Friends of the Library Book Club Meeting at the New Brunswick Free Public Library, 60 Livingston Ave.
At 1:30 p.m., the book club will meet to discuss the book "Room" by Emma Donoghue. The club is open to anyone who has read the book and wants to discuss it.
Tuesday
SmartTalk Connected Conversations with Sigourney Weaver at the State Theatre, 15 Livingston Ave.
At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the State Theatre will host a talk with the acclaimed actress Sigourney Weaver. Tickets are $25.
Wednesday
Youth and Family Mentoring Program at Saint Alban's Episcopal Church, 148 Lee Ave.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, Saint Alban's Episcopal Church hosts a mentoring program for teens and families for anyone in need of counseling and mentorship.
Thursday
ESL Conversation Group at the New Brunswick Free Public Library, 60 Livingston Ave.
At 7 p.m., the library will host a free ESL conversation group in the nearby Henry Guest House. Attendees must be over the age of 18, be able to speak some English and complete a registration form and return it to the library.
Friday
JB Smoove at the Stress Factory, 90 Church St.
Comedian JB Smoove will perform at 8 p.m. at the Stress Factory. Tickets are $25. Additional shows are scheduled for Saturday.
