Hi my name is Margarita, I'm the mother of the victim Mario Lombardo Jr. THAT WAS SHOT ON THE HEAD ON Jan. 15, 2013 on Somerset St. in New Brunswick, NJ.

I demand for something to be done. We as parents and as families have to put a stop to all this violence that's going around, people killing people, or people robbing people, because this is horrible!

Parents and friends and families, we have a voice so let's use it. Lets get out there and fight back, let's demand for the governor to put more protection out there, to go and hit every little shop out there that sells guns to make that people who want to purchase a gun be thoroughly inspected. To check their backgrounds, not to allow for mentally ill people to buy guns, to inspect parents that have mentally ill children, to keep a close watch on people that have been to jail for gun use or are on parole. The person who shot my son was on parole and look at what he did! We also need to watch the other suspects or also people that been in jail and in trouble with the law!

What is it going to take for the governor and the police to understand that there is war our there with these criminals walking the streets and hurting our loved ones! I will fight back, I am all for gun control. I promised my son that the people who did this to him will pay. I'm going to make sure that they will never hurt my son again or another living soul out there. I will make sure that they spend the rest of their lives in jail!

My son was a good working man who worked in Saint Peter's Hospital, and here come these monsters and took everything away from him. But I will show them that they won't ever hurt another person again!
