It's that time of year again! The New Brunswick Salvation Army is collecting school supplies for those that are less fortunate in the New Brunswick area. Collections are being taken now, located at 287 Handy Street in New Brunswick. School supplies needed would be backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, rulers, highlighters, color pencils, scissors, glue sticks, markers, calculator, 1" binders, 3" ring binders, notebooks, pens, student planners, pocket dictionaries, and erasers. Each year, the Salvation Army seeks to provide needy families towards assistance with the Back-to-School program. This program has helped out tremendously and of course has put a smile on each of the children's faces. Collections are being taken until Friday, August 24th. Please make sure to call Jeanette Lugo before dropping items at (732) 545-1477.
