Chasing The Past – Jonathan Salemi (North Hollywood, California)

After losing his fiancée in a car accident, Zach withdraws from society. While running through the desert, he meets a mysterious woman who tells him that she is a time traveler running away from a man in the future. Who is really being chased?  2014; 17 min.

Rye Coalition: The Story of the Hard Luck 5 – Jenni Matz (Los Angeles, California)

An intimate and fiery rock documentary tracing the rise and fall of Rye Coalition, a band of five childhood friends from New Jersey. From their first years and endless late nights spent blasting through basement shows and dive-bar gigs, to signing a major record deal right when the music industry imploded, Rye Coalition endured the nightmares and sustained the dream of playing their music their way, disbelievers and haters be damned. 2014; 77 min. Guest House – Aaron Wolf (Los Angeles, California)

After losing his job and his fiancée on the same day, a depressed and downtrodden Lance Wesley moves back into his parents' guesthouse. As he fights with his less-than-patient father, relics from his past begin to pay him visits. Will his uncanny objects propel him forward? 2013; 27 min.

Lies I Told My Little Sister – William J. Stribling (Union, New Jersey)

A deeply felt and expertly acted independent feature about the blood ties that bind us to the past. Traumatized by the death of her oldest sister, a globe-trotting nature photographer is guilted into taking a family trip to Cape Cod, along with the younger sister she used to torment. Amid recriminations, revelations, a very strange shopkeeper and the inklings of a romance, they square off against the patterns of childhood and tentatively move toward reconciliation. My Most Handsome Monster – Madsen Minax (Houston, Texas)

In this experimental short about consensual bondage play, performance video, text and narration, archival family footage, and landscape meditation reveal the dynamics of erotic power. 2014; 13 min.

Arena – Martin Rath (Lodz, Poland)

A hitchhiker is taken in by remote mountain villagers. Tested by the hardened locals and the unforgiving harshness of his new environment, he rethinks his identity. But to whom do we have to prove of what we're made?  In Polish, subtitled. 2013; 23 min.

Horror Film – Sebastian Wotschke (Essen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany)

This stylish horror film features stunning cinematography and special effects while paying homage to the great German Expressionist films of the 1920s.  The setting:  Barker Forest in Northern England. Not an ordinary forest. For many years, untold ghosts have haunted this place. And right in the middle of it all, inhabiting a centuries-old house, the Lee family are left all alone. . . 2013; 74 min.

TIME All Voorhees Hall and Scott Hall programs begin at 7:00 PM. Films are screened in the order listed with a brief intermission between films for double and multiple-bills.

We also can provide Listening Assisstive Devices for those that are hearing impaired. TICKETS
  Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis only and can be purchased at the door beginning a half-hour before the show begins. Advance Tickets are available to groups of 2 or more. Call or email us for more info. All films are subject to change. Call our information number 848-932-8482 the day of show to confirm titles.

DIRECTIONS
Voorhees Hall #105/Scott Hall #135=Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 9 and then take Route 18N (New Brunswick direction) and go for 2 1/2 miles to the College Avenue Campus/George Street exit (immediately after the Route 27S exit) and make a left at the light at the end of the exit ramp onto George Street, then go to the next light and make a right onto Hamilton Street, then go to the next light and make a right onto College Avenue. Almost immediately on your right hand side there is an University Parking Lot (#9) which is made available for our patrons to park in. Voorhees Hall is adjacent to the Zimmerli Art Museum and is 100 paces across the Voorhees Mall from Parking Lot 9. Patrons can also park in Rutgers Lots #1 (next to Kirkpatrick Chapel) and #16 (next to Murray and Milledoler Hall).
