Winners of the 2014 New Jersey International Film Festival Competition Announced!

Winners of the 2014 New Jersey International Film Festival Competition Announced!
All the works that were part of the New Jersey International Film Festival Competition were selected by a panel of judges including media professionals, journalists, students, and academics. These judges selected the 24 finalists which were publicly screened at the Festival. The finalists were selected from 357 works submitted by filmmakers from around the world. In addition, the judges chose the Prize Winners in conjunction with the Festival Director.

Winner Best Documentary Film
Rye Coalition: The Story of the Hard Luck 5 – Jenni Matz (Los Angeles, California)

Winner Best Short Film
The Sound – Sacha Iskra (New York, New York)

Winner Best Experimental Film
My Most Handsome Monster – Madsen Minax (Houston, Texas)

Winner Best Animated Film
The Innovator – Sean McCarthy (San Jose, California)
