The National Weather Service (NWS) had issued a dense fog alert for this morning, and some high winds for today through tomorrow.
The dense fog advisory is in effect until 8 am this morning with visibility ranging less than one-quarter of a mile.
In addition, the NWS is warning that a powerful storm developing in the Great Lakes region will play havoc with Central New Jersey's weather tonight through Thursday.
The high wind warning is in effect from 7 pm tonight through 4 am tomorrow.
Winds are expected to range from 20 to 30 mph, with gusts of up to 60 mph. The winds will precede an expected cold front that will send temperatures plummeting.
