Five Things Happening in New Brunswick This Weekend

Are you unsure as to what to do with the weekend? Here are five events happening around town.

Domestic Violence Awareness Rally, Hub Teen Center, 411 Joyce Kilmer Ave.

The New Brunswick Domestic Violence Awareness Coalition will host a rally and march against domestic violence at 11 a.m. Saturday. It is free and open to the public.

Hungarian Village Music and Dance Night, Hungarian American Athletic Club, 233 Somerset St.

At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, this event will feature Hungarian music and dance, food and exhibits. Experience Hungarian dancers will be on hand to teach participants basic dance steps. Admission is $10.

4th Annual Walk for Diane for the Early Detection of Breast Cancer, Buccleuch Park, Easton Avenue and Huntington Street

The annual Walk for Diane kicks off at 8 a.m. Sunday at Buccleuch Park. It is hosted by The Amy Foundation and Saint Peter's University Hospital.

WeddingSetGo Bridal Show at Rutgers University, College Avenue Gym, 130 College Ave.

This wedding show is free to attend, and will feature vendors, performances from entertainers and door prizes. It begins at noon on Sunday. 

"Shift Gears with Pastor Greer" Breast Cancer Walk, Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, 39 Hildebrand Way

At 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church will hold a breast cancer walk around New Brunswick in cooperation with the Sisters Network of Central New Jersey.
