New Brunswick Free Public Library to Host Two Free Musical Performances

Performances to be held Dec. 3 and Dec. 7 at the library.

The New Brunswick Free Public Library will host two musical programs next month, beginning with a performance by opera singers at 1 p.m. Dec. 3.

According to a release from the library, the vocalists will perform a number of musical pieces, including those of classical composers and from two Shakespearean operas, as well as four compositions from a New Jersey composer.

At 12:15 p.m. Dec. 7, the library will host a string trio from the nearby Mason Gross School of the Arts, also performing a number of classical compositions.

Both programs will be held in the library's Carl T. Valenti Community Room, and are free and open to the public.

Light refreshments will be served.
