Practice English Conversation Skills in New Brunswick

Youth Empowerment Services, Lazos America Unida and the New Brunswick Free Public Library all host weekly English conversation classes.

Do you know someone who wishes to practice their English in a group setting? Youth Education Services (YES), Lazos America Unida and the New Brunswick Free Public Library invites them to come to a conversation cafe.

Free conversation cafes for ESL speakers to practice their English are held weekly as follows:

  • 6-7:30 p.m. Thursdays at Youth Empowerment Services (YES), 270 George St. For more information, call (848) 932-7486.
  • 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesdays at Lazos America Unida, 2 Kirkpatrick St., Second Floor. Call (732) 745-8666 for more information.
  • 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the New Brunswick Free Public Library, 60 Livingston Ave. Call (732) 745-5108 and ask for Kavita Pandey for more information.

The classes are held in cooperation with the hosting organizations and Students Advancing Literary Skills in Adults (SALSA) at Rutgers University.
