Share Your New Brunswick News on Patch

Patch is not a passive sport—get involved. How do you post an announcement? How do you blog? The answers are all here.

New Brunswick Patch is a place for people who want to get things done. As you may have noticed, we have lots of opportunities to get you involved. Sure, it may be fun to read, but it's even better when you’re contributing to the conversation.

This is a place to post some great pictures from around town, it's a place to write business reviews, it's a place to promote your business and it's a place to tell your stories.

There are so many ways to get involved. Here’s everything you can do on New Brunswick Patch.

Get the news how you want it, when you want it

We publish new content daily. If it’s happening around New Brunswick, it matters to us. You can always get the latest news by logging onto New Brunswick Patch. We also have a daily newsletter with the day’s top stories and breaking news alerts. Sign up for the newsletter and breaking news alerts here.

More of a social media butterfly? We’re on Facebook and Twitter too. Like your news on your phone? No problem, download mobile apps for the iPhone and Android.

Share your pictures

On every story, you have the option of uploading your own photos and videos. Did we cover a game and you got a great action shot? Or did you get a nice video clip from a parade? Look for the “upload photos and videos” button, under the photos on every story.

Our Pics & Clips gallery is perfect for shots that don’t necessarily fit into a story. If you saw something funny, interesting or shocking around town or just took a picture you want to share, add it to Pics & Clips.

Brag a little and share your news

Did your kid make the dean’s list or win an award? Did your business or group just promote someone? Have a press release to share? No need to wait for us—Patch is designed for you to share that with your neighbors in the announcements section, no middleman necessary. Here’s our how-to.

Get people to your event

Whether it’s a yard sale, school fundraiser, church activity or community meeting, our events calendar is the place to list it. Again, you can do this yourself. Here’s how to post calendar events.

Find your voice, share your opinions

The Local Voices section is entirely community-driven. Our networks of bloggers dish on everything from running to the local hospitals and New Brunswick nightlife. Are you passionate about something? Start a free blog on Patch.

Just have something quick to say? You can comment on any story as long as you’re logged in to your Patch account. Or if you have something more to say, send a letter to the editor to Jennifer.Bradshaw@Patch.com.

Advertise your business

We’re all about New Brunswick. This is where your customers are, too. If you’d like to discuss advertising on Patch, contact ad manager Liz Dwyer, liz.dwyer@patch.com.

Connect with local businesses

We want every single New Brunswick business represented in our directory. Business owners, if you’re not already there or if you want to know more about claiming your (free!) listing, check out this how-to.

And non-business owners, if you’re looking for a new restaurant to try out, the best hair salon or a specialty shop, browse through the directory. You may just discover a new gem.

Find your lost pet

Harness the power of Patch to bring Fido or Fluffy home with a lost pet announcement. It’s easy and it works.

Get a story covered

Do you have a hot tip or a story suggestion? We’re all ears. Email us at Jennifer.Bradshaw@patch.com, and share your scoop.

Get more help

Are you having a technical issue, trouble logging in or some other issue with the site? First, check out this FAQ. If the answer isn’t there, click on “submit a request” at the top of the FAQ page and our help desk will come to the rescue.

Whew, that should cover it. As you can see, there is so much more to do on South Brunswick Patch besides click on a news story. If you have questions or comments, never hesitate to reach out to Jennifer.Bradshaw@Patch.com. Happy Patching!
