Unity Square to Host Halloween Trunk or Treat on Nov. 9

New Brunswick kids are invited to the parking lot of St. Mary's Church to trick or treat out of the cars of residents and community groups.

Unity Square has postponed its annual Trunk or Treat celebration for New Brunswick kids to Nov. 9 due to Hurricane Sandy damage and a winter storm set to blow in on Nov. 7.

The event will be held in the parking lot of St. Mary's Church, located at the corner of Remsen Avenue and Sandford Street.

Trunk or Treat is an event that gives kids ages 3-14 the chance to come in costume with their treat bags and trick or treat out of the backs of cars of participating residents and community groups.

It is free to attend, and will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Unity Square seeks additional volunteers to participate in Trunk or Treat and donations of candy to hand out. For more information, email Amanda Gallear at agallear@ccdom.org, or call (732) 545-0329.
