Both performances are free and open to the public.

Editor's Note: The following information is a press release from Middlesex County College.

The Middlesex County College Dance Ensemble will present its 12th annual fall dance concert entitled “Fall for Dance” on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1. Both performances will be held in the Performing Arts Center on the College’s Edison Campus at 7 p.m. and are free.

“We are presenting modern dance pieces that are, as always, distinctive and audience-friendly,” said Professor Aimee Mitacchione, the director. “Refreshing twists to our concert include modern dance incorporating batons, as well as a piece that showcases many dance styles in one. It is a delight to have professional choreographer Lees Hummel, currently the director of education for the Lustig Dance Theater, return yet again, bringing our dancers to another level.”

Student choreographers include Abagail Allen, Melanie Belonis, Tabitha Edwards, Melissa Hurst, Caitlin McHugh, Alicia Pagan, Asia Vaganek, and Nicole Zygler.

“Our dancers range from advanced professionals in the dance field to absolute beginners,” said Professor Mitacchione, who also choreographed two of the dances in the upcoming concert. “The Dance Program prides itself on providing opportunities to a diverse group of artists who may not have otherwise been given the chance to gain performance experience. We strive to provide a professional concert that will be thought-provoking and inspirational.”
