NJ Film Festival Returns for Spring 2014

The NJ Film Festival Spring 2014 will open at the end of January.

The New Jersey Film Festival Spring 2014 will return in January for the festival's 32nd anniversary.

Presented by the Rutgers Film Co-op/New Jersey Media Arts Center and the Rutgers University Program In Cinema Studies, the festival will screen a slew of films, including international and independent films, short films, documentaries and cinema classics.

More than 50 films will be screened, according to a press release from the festival. 25 of those films are finalists, submitted by filmmakers from all over the world. The winners will be chosen on Feb. 9, 2014, according to the release.

In addition to the screenings, 15 guest appearances will accompany the films, including directors, actors and producers, who will be available for Q&A sessions after their films.

Four video and film workshops will also be offered, discussing screenwriting, audio production and legal aspects of filmmaking, according to the release.
