State Theatre Hosts Family Day on Monday

Performances, crafts and games and child-friendly activities will be held all day.

State Theatre has announced its annual Family Day will be held Monday, Feb. 18.

The event is hosted at five venues - State Theatre, George Street Playhouse, Crossroads Theatre, United Methodist Church and the Hub City Big Top Tent on Livingston Avenue.

The day will feature performances, workshops, crafts, games, face painting an sand art, a traveling zoo, and costumed characters.

The day runs from 10 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m.

The New Brunswick Fire Department will have a truck on-site for families to tour, and the Colgate Bright Smiles Bright Futures Mobile Dental Van is scheduled to visit as well, according to State Theatre.

Some performances and workshops are being offered at a cost, while free activities will be offered in the Hub City Big Top Tent and in front of State Theatre.
