Girl Scout Cookie Sales Begin

Girl Scouts will be selling cookies door-to-door and at local establishments.

For those who love Girl Scout cookies, it may start to feel like the holiday season all over again.

A press release for the Girl Scouts states that as of Jan. 18, eight varieties of cookies will be available. The eight cookies on sale include Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Do-Di-dos, Trefoils, Savannah Smiles, Dulce de Leche and Thank U Berry Munch. Each box of cookies cost $4.

While the cookies are delicious, sales of Girl Scout cookies gives girls multiple opportunities to raise funds that help them achieve the goals they’ve set for themselves. The press release further explains that the Girl Scout cookie sale also supports other community organizations and the military.
