John E. Keefe, Jr. and Patrick J. Bartels announce John E. Gregory, Jr. as new partner to Keefe Bartels. John joined the firm in September of 2005 as an associate attorney. Since that time John has litigated hundreds of cases on behalf of the firm's clients, taking many of those cases to trial throughout New Jersey.
New Jersey Monthly Magazine has recognized John as a Rising Star Super Lawyer every year since 2010. As a result of working to protect the under protected John has also been selected by The National Trial Lawyers Association as a "Top 40 Under 40" civil trial attorney, an honor acknowledging accomplished trial lawyers throughout the country under the age of 40. Striving to ensure the sanctity of all people's rights to a jury trial, Mr. Gregory also serves as a trustee to the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey. More recently the New Jersey State Bar President Ralph Lamparello appointed John to serve on the New Jersey State Bar Automobile Reparations Special Committee. John has on numerous occasions lectured and moderated at continuing legal education seminars concerning litigation and trial strategy.
John graduated from Rutgers School of Law - Newark in 2000. Following graduation John had the great fortune of clerking for the Honorable Robert A. Fall, J.A.D. (retired) in New Jersey's Appellate Division of the Superior Court before entering practice.
