When Darkness Falls

Always be on alert - especially when driving at night.

Ever notice the strange effect darkness has on us? A standing lamp in the day becomes a stalking burglar at night or a short walk down the hallway to the bathroom becomes a long dangerous journey through a dark alley?

That horror movie feeling, as hard as I try, always finds me when I’m driving alone at night.

It just gets me thinking…

Does my fear act as an extra precaution, or make me jumpy and endanger me?

Just last night as I was driving home alone, I sat at red light at a completely empty intersection for three whole minutes! It doesn’t seem that long now, but three minutes in the day feels like hours alone at night.  So don’t let the horror movies get inside your head.

Stay alert. Stay focused. Stay calm. And you’ll be home before you know it!
