Having served more than 1,000 families and counting, the R.E.A.C.H. Ministry of Abundant Life Family Worship Church will host its’ 9th annual Thanksgiving Food Drive Tuesday November 20th.  To assist in-need families and lessen their financial burden this holiday season, ALFWC is committed to providing Thanksgiving dinner for 100 families.  The dinners will be prepackaged and include a turkey and non-perishable items and be distributed on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 5 p.m.

Gallup.com found that nearly 1 in 5 Americans didn’t have enough money to pay for food at times this year.  According to The Food Research and Action Center, that translates to 18.6 percent of Americans.  At ALFWC, family and community is important to us, we’re in the community to make a difference!

It’s our hope that our giving will encourage families during this difficult time, make a difference, and provide assistance that will positively impact their holiday.

New Brunswick Mayor James Cahill attended and spoke at last year’s food drive. We’re looking forward to his attendance again this year as well as other prominent community leaders and elected officials who are a part of the local and surrounding communities.
