UPDATE: Route 18 Ramp to Route 1 Continues to be Closed Due to Flipped Tractor-Trailer
Avoid the Route 18/Route 1 interchange today, as major traffic delays are expected.
Update: Around 2:30 p.m., the ramp from Route 18 North to Route 1 South remained closed to cleanup efforts. Drivers continue to be urged to avoid the area, if possible.
An overturned tractor-trailer has closed the Route 18 North ramp to Route 1 South in New Brunswick.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area, as major traffic delays are expected.

Cpt. J.T. Miller of New Brunswick Police said no serious injuries were reported in the accident, which occured around 10 a.m. Friday morning.
The ramp is estimated to be reopened around 2 p.m., Miller said.
