From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Jewish Family and Vocational Service of Middlesex County will host a citizenship preparation class that is free to legal permanent citizens wishing to apply for US citizenship. Textbooks are provided and classes are held every Monday.
Tuesday
at the , 126 College Ave.
At 10 a.m., representatives from the City of New Brunswick will have a table set up inside of the student center and will be available to speak with students about city issues and services.
Students will also be given the chance to fill out a survey expressing their opinion about New Brunswick for city use, and will be given a free t-shirt or frisbee for doing so.
Wednesday
at the Elijah's Promise soup kitchen, 18 Neilson St.
Elijah's Promise will host a free screening of the film "Foodstamped" at 6 p.m. A light meal of soup and bread will be served. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested by calling 732-545-9002, ext. 127. Free childcare will be provided during the event.
Thursday

Stand-up comedian Neal Brennan will perform at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20. Additional shows are planned through Saturday.
Friday

Beginning at 7 p.m., Omega Sound Fix II is a music festival that features an eclectic roster of performance-based and electronic artists. Admission is $6, and the festival will on Saturday.
