Brown Bag Series Lecture: A Life in the Wings / Presented by Christy Ney, "Wicked" Stage Manager

Christy Ney, who graduated from The College of
New Jersey as a Television/Theater Production major in the class of 1999,
currently works as the Assistant Stage Manager for the Broadway hit Wicked. Ney works at the Gershwin
Theatre in New York City, where she manages and coordinates a host of
behind-the-scenes people: carpenters, electricians, a spotlight caller,
automated scenery runners. Ney cues actor entrances, lights, scenery changes,
and even sound effects, and alongside the other stage managers, she serves as
the center point of communications for the entire production side of Wicked.

Bring your lunch and relax during the first Brown Bag Series lecture of the semester! Free and open to the public.
