National Day of Service - Please Donate Blood

New York Blood Center (NYBC), has been invited by the Presidential Inaugural Committee to participate in the “National Day of Service” on January 19, the Saturday before President Obama’s second inauguration. Blood donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment to donate blood at NJ Blood Services, a division of NYBC on January 19, joining volunteers from around the country who will be working with a variety of non-profit groups.

Donate blood at one of the following NJBS locations:
NJBS Donor Center, 167 New St. New Brunswick from 6:30 am to 1:30pm
Old Bridge Fire Co. 551 Old Bridge Typk, E. Brunswick from 10:30am to 4:30pm
Piscataway Public Library - 500 Hoes Lane, Piscataway from 11am to 4pm
Donors should be 16 years with parent consent, weigh 110 lbs. and be in generally good health. Please direct questions of eligibility to the 1-800-933-2566.
