 O Negative Blood in Short Supply


During a time when there is a short supply of O negative, the universal blood type that can be transfused into all others, NJ Blood Services is asking all eligible persons to donate on Tuesday, January 22nd at the NJBS Donor Center in New Brunswick. Eligible persons must be 16 years with parental consent, weigh 110 lbs, and be in generally good health. Persons 76 and older must present a letter from their doctor stating they are healthy to donate. All donors must present a signed, or photo ID. Direct questions of eligibilty to 1-800-933-2566.
