Give Yourself a Financial Check-up at the Library

In partnership with the Piscataway
Public Library, the New Brunswick Free Public Library will host two
"Centsible Living" Financial Literacy Workshops, the first of which is
"How Are You Doing? Give Yourself a Financial Check-up" on Thursday,
July 24. This workshop will discuss 20 ways that people can assess their personal
financial progress and identify areas of their financial life that need
improvement. Topics covered include financial quizzes, financial
goal-setting, income and expense statements, net worth, debt ratios,
marginal income tax brackets, retirement planning, investment
performance metrics, investment risk tolerance, insurance needs, estate
planning, government financial statistics, and more!

"Investing For Long Term Financial Goals" will be held on Thursday,
September 11.

Each of these programs will conclude with suggested action steps to put
the workshop content into practice.

These programs are made possible by a grant from the FINRA Investor
Education Foundation through Smart investing@your library®, a
partnership with the American Library Association.
