Global Cardboard Challenge at Greater Brunswick Charter School
Greater Brunswick Charter School (GBCS) will host our 2nd Annual Global Cardboard Challenge on Saturday, October 5th, 2013 from 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM, at 429 Joyce Kilmer Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.
We invite you to design and build awesome creations using cardboard, reused materials, and imagination. The Challenge brings people from around the world together to celebrate the creativity and imagination of kids everywhere.
The event began when a nine-year-old boy, Caine Monroy, built an arcade out of cardboard in his dad's used auto parts store in East LA. When one of Caine's customers made a movie about the arcade, Caine became an overnight Internet sensation. You can find videos of him on Youtube and at http://cainesarcade.com/.
