HomeSharing 5K/One Mile Walk

HomeSharing, Central Jersey’s affordable shared housing program, is seeking
runners and sponsors for its third annual 5K Run and One-Mile Fun Walk on
Sunday, April 13 at Duke Island Park on Old York Road in Bridgewater.

             Pre-registration for the
race, organized by Sports A/R and sanctioned by USA Track and Field, is $20 and

             The Fun Walk will begin at 9
a.m. The 5K race on a certified course will begin at 9:30 a.m.  The awards ceremony will be held at 10:30
a.m.

            HomeSharing prevents homelessness by matching
"providers," residents who need to share their homes or apartments in
order to keep them, with "seekers," individuals searching for
affordable housing in their communities. HomeSharing also assists its
clients in locating and utilizing other social service and support resources. The
organization's services are provided free of charge.
