Rutgers Writer's Reading & Reception

Rutgers University Professor Mary Hawkesworth will discuss her new book, Political Worlds of Women: Activism, Advocacy, and Governance in the Twenty-First Century, at the final summer Writer’s Reading & Reception event, 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6 at the Alexander Library’s fourth floor Scholarly Communication Center. Dr. Hawkesworth will draw upon case studies from across the globe to address critical issues such as immigration and citizenship, the politics of representation, sexual regulation, and gender mainstreaming.
