Jam along to this powerful, soul-infused rock and roll band founded by Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman featuring twin lead vocals from multi-platinum recording artist Joan Osborne and singer-songwriter Jackie Greene who also plays guitar and keyboards. Rounding out the group are lead guitarist Tom Bukovac and bassist Nick Govrik.
Trigger Hippy’s first recorded material, a self-titled limited edition 10-inch EP, was released in November 2013. The four songs on the EP were written collectively by the band who draw much of their musical inspiration “…from the members’ shared love of R&B and soul—lots of Al Green and Stax, some old blues covers and a little bit of Led Zeppelin and Little Feat thrown in for good measure” as described byThe Memphis Commercial Appeal.
