The Sisters Network of Central New Jersey Inc., a nonprofit support network for African-American women with breast cancer, will host a breakfast and health summit on Sept. 10.
The event's keynote speaker will be Melissa Harris-Perry, a professor of political science at Tulane University.
Free health screenings will be held, including those for cholesterol, blood pressure, bone density and diabetes. Door prizes and other entertainment will also be held.
