Cpt. J.T. Miller of New Brunswick Police said the 20-year-old victim is not a Rutgers University student.

A 20-year-old New Brunswick man was shot early Saturday morning following a dispute in the area of Stuff Yer Face and Thomas Sweet.

According to Cpt. J.T. Miller of New Brunswick Police, the victim and the unidentified shooter got into a dispute just before 3 a.m. on the sidewalk in front of 93 Easton Ave.

The victim was shot twice and taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Miller said.

Miller declined to say where on his body the victim was shot, stating that the injuries were not life-threatening.

Why is it so important to state that it was not a Rutgers student ?Irrelevant to the story.

Stuff Yer Face is a college hangout, and the victim's age suggests he could be a student. It's natural for readers to wonder if it was a Rutgers student, so it's worth mentioning.

The reason why their is a code of silence in the African American community is because the Chief Municipal Court judge in New brunswick along with the detectives that are investigating the crime --will have them to arrested you first with out investigation and charge with the crime because your black PERIOD,along with the perception of your Guilty first and FOREMOST!

Well it sucks to be you ,doesn't it Joel.Your black and the whole world is against you.And remember when your losing the argument , play the RACE CARD.
