UPDATED: Brothers Arrested, Charged in Death of New Brunswick Hip-Hop Artist

Two brothers have been charged with the death of Eric Andrews, Jr. at a Franklin Township hair salon.

Police have arrested two brothers and charged them with murder for the death of Eric Andrews, Jr., of New Brunswick. 

Zaire Cromedy, 21, of Langley Place in New Brunswick and Antwan Cromedy, 28, of Vosseller Avenue in Bound Brook were named as suspects wanted for the shooting death of Andrews at Nu Trendz Hair Studio in Franklin Township.

According to a report on NJ.com, both men entered police custory on Tuesday. Antwan Cromedy was arrested at his Bound Brook home and Zaire Cromedy, turned himself in. 

Both men have been charged with murder in the first degree, according to a press release from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.

According to a report on NJ.com, police responded to the report of a shooting at the hair salon on Somerset Street at 5:53 p.m. Sunday, where they found the wounded Andrews, 28, a rapper known as "E-9".

He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the report.

Andrews was shot following a confrontation with someone inside the salon.

"While numerous witnesses were present and may have witnessed the shooting, detectives have received limited information regarding the assailants," the release said.

Andrews was past of a rap duo with friend George Opoku, known as "6FO," according to the report.
