PHOTO: Four New Officers Sworn into New Brunswick PD

The four officers had previously worked for the Trenton Police Department.

New Brunswick Mayor James M. Cahill, with Police Director Anthony Caputo, swore-in four new New Brunswick Police Officers on May 22.

According to a press release from the city, the four officers were hired using federal funds granted through the Community Oriented Policing Services (C.O.P.S.). They previously worked for the Trenton Police Department. All four officers will live in New Brunswick as a condition of their employment, the release said.

The four new police officers from the Trenton Police Department are:

  • Victor Delgado, an Iraq war veteran who served on the Trenton Police Department for one and half years.
  • Erika DiMarcello, who served four and a half years in Trenton.
  • Sean Freeman, who served one and a half years in Trenton.
  • Robert Runof, who served four and a half years in Trenton.
