Severe Thunderstorms Expected To Impact Middlesex County

Strong to severe thunderstorms were expected to move through South Brunswick Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Strong to severe thunderstorms on a line from Binghamton, N.Y. to Frederick, Md. were moving eastward and toward Middlesex County.

These storms were to reach Middlesex County sometime after 8:30 p.m. and continue to push eastward as they weaken.

These storms have a history of damaging winds and dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning. Residents were urged to seek shelter if threatening weather approaches.
