Teenager Killed in Saturday Morning Stabbing

The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office reports that a 17-year-old New Brunswick teen was found fatally stabbed at the intersection of Remsem Avenue and Hale Street.

A New Brunswick teenager has died after being found fatally wounded on a New Brunswick street corner early Saturday morning.

According to a press release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, officers on routine patrol found Junio Moronto, 17, wounded and lying on the ground at the intersection of Remsen Avenue and Hale Street at 1:52 a.m. Saturday morning.

Moronto was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m., the release said.

Preliminary reports show that Moronto was stabbed, the release said.

Police are investigating, but no arrests have been made.
