An early Sunday morning brawl on Louis Street resulted in two injured men, but no arrests, police say.
According to Cpt. J.T. Miller of New Brunswick Police, police responded around 1 a.m. Sunday to reports of a large fight at a house party on Louis Street near the corner of Hamilton Street.
Upon arriving, two men, both 18, were found with facial injuries after being punched. Both are unidentified, one being from Egg Harbor in Atlantic County, the other from Norwood, in Bergen County.
Both men were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and treated for their injuries, which were not life-threatening, Miller said.
Both of the men were intoxicated and uncooperative, and said they were not sure why they were involved in the fight, Miller said. Neither could identify who punched them, he said.
No arrests were made.
