City Council to Meet Tonight

The council meeting will commence at 6:30 p.m.

The New Brunswick City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 20 to discuss and vote on matters of city governance.

Wednesday's meeting looks to be a busy one, with the council scheduled to discuss liquor license restrictions on popular nightspot D'Gala, vote on an amendment to the ordinance governing wages for city police officers and hear a briefing on the Internal Affairs process within the police department.

D'Gala had restrictions placed on it after residents complained that the Commercial Avenue establishment played music too loud and too late and attracted disruptive patrons.
