29 Students Inducted into New Brunswick Academic Hall of Fame

The Academic Hall of Fame inducts high-achieving students twice a year, in the fall and spring.

29 students from six New Brunswick public schools were inducted into the district Academic Hall of Fame at Tuesday's Board of Education meeting.

According to district ESL Specialist Tommie Shider, founder and chair of the Academic Hall of Fame, in order to be eligible for induction, students must receive straight A's in all subject areas for three of the school year's four marking periods, plus receive A's in all subjects for their final grades.

The latest inductees came from Roosevelt, Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, and McKinley Elementary Schools, New Brunswick Middle School and New Brunswick Health Sciences and Technology High School.
