Meet The New Brunswick School Board Candidates

School board elections will be held on April 16 in New Brunswick.

New Brunswick voters will vote for three more school board members on April 16 during the first regularly scheduled election.

Six candidates are running for three seats on the board, three incumbents and three newcomers.

Unity Square, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization in New Brunswick, distributed a questionnaire to each of the candidates, the answers to which can be viewed by clicking the links below:

A $27.3 million tax levy in support of a $195 million school budget will also be on the ballot.

City residents will have a chance to ask the candidates questions of their own during a public forum at 7 p.m April 11 at Lord Stirling Community School, 101 Redmond St.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on April 16.
