Snow Day: Rutgers Cancels Classes

Classes will resume at the start of third period on Wednesday.

Rutgers University has announced the cancellation of classes after fourth period Tuesday, Jan. 21, the first day of classes for the spring semester for much of the university

According to the university's campus operating status website, classes will resume at noon Wednesday, Jan. 22. 

All Rutgers campuses will enter a Level 4 Weather Emergency Closure at 3 p.m. Tuesday, reopening at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Essential employees will continue to work as normal while non-essential employees will be permitted to leave at 3 p.m., or earlier, depending on approval from their supervisor, according to the website.
