Rutgers Alum and Former Football Player Eric LeGrand is Super Bowl Bound
NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt gave LeGrand two tickets to the game after the former player's appearance on the radio Monday morning.

The former Rutgers University football player whose number was retired after he suffered a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the neck down will be in attendance at the NFL’s championship game thanks to the generosity of an NFL.com analyst, nj.com reports.
Gil Brandt, who is also an analyst for Sirius NFL Radio, gave LeGrand a pair of tickets less than two hours after LeGrand mentioned he would like to go to the game during an appearance on “Boomer and Carton” on WFAN radio Monday morning, according to the report.

LeGrand is a fan of the Denver Broncos, who will play the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night at MetLife Stadium in the first Super Bowl game ever played in New Jersey.
He doesn’t know where he’ll be sitting, but he will take his mother, Karen, according to the report. He was on the show to tell the story of his recovery following the devastating injury that took place at MetLife Stadium in 2010.

LeGrand, an Avenel resident, earned his college degree last week.
