U.S. Men's National Soccer Team Anchored by North Brunswick Native
Tim Howard enters his second World Cup as America's goalkeeper.
While the world looks on and countries support their national teams in the quadrennial World Cup, New Jersey has even more reason to switch from football to futbol fandom over the next month.
North Brunswick native Tim Howard will again anchor the U.S. Men’s National Team in the 2014 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament as he did in the 2010 event. Howard was also part of the 2006 World Cup team.
The net-minder graduated North Brunswick Township High School in 1997 after spending the first two years at Montclair Kimberley Academy. Howard, who was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome in sixth grade, is now a member of the board of directors for the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders.
