Numbers Do Matter

Even though the numbers on the scale are not of much value to some people, numbers in some shape or form do matter to most people whether it’s how many inches they’ve lost, what size they’ve gone down to or perhaps a target weight they’d like to get or a healthy BMI . For me it was all of the above. Although I didn’t measure myself in the beginning, I’m sorry I didn’t. As I look back I would love to have been able to compare my present measurements to ones taken at the beginning. I did take them several months in and have lost a number of inches since then, but I will continue to wonder how many I actually lost. So if you’re starting a program like the MAX 10 Week Challenge, do it even if you take your measurements at the onset on your own and tuck them away for future reference, you’ll thank yourself later. I continue to weigh myself daily which is not recommended and is kind of frowned upon. Emphasis is place on looking at yourself and seeing the bodily changes and feeling those changes in your clothing.  Results vary from one person to the next so emphasis is placed on doing your personal best and striving for your own individual goals.

This past 10 Week Challenge, I was fortunate to have been one of the finalists for the individual having made the biggest change not only outwardly, but inwardly. I’ve lost a total of approximately 15 inches, have gone from a size 16W to an 8/10, am now within a healthy BMI range and went from a hefty 199 lbs. down to a healthy 155 lbs. The biggest things that keep me going these days are the compliments I receive, how I look in pictures and knowing that I am healthier and happier than I’ve been in a very long time.

If you’ve been just thinking about starting out on a challenge of your own, summer is just 9 short weeks away and you’ll be shedding your winter coats long before then. The MAX Challenge is a 10 week body renewal system designed to make fast and lasting changes to your appearance and overall well-being. Just think in 10 short weeks you can be where you want to be before bathing suit season or at least well on your way.
