On Thursday, Elijah's Promise hosted its "Farm to Table Eat Local Challenge", which tasked groups of culinary students from Elijah's Promise to create tasting stations featuring their own creations.

Elijah’s Promise Farm to Table program has been working for nine years to promote eating locally and sustainability in order to support a healthy, hunger free community, and environment. This year, we are extending the table to invite the New Brunswick and larger community to be part of a week-long celebration of eating local food and celebrating the flavors of the season.

For the week of July 18th-25th, folks from all over our area are participated in the Eat Local Challenge by trying to purchase and prepare foods that are grown or produced within 100 miles of New Brunswick.
