Elijah's Promise recently received a $10,000 Darden Foundation Restaurant Community Grant to be put toward the daily operations of its soup kitchen.
Furnished by 10 local restaurants, including Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse and Bahama Breeze, the grants are intended to benefit community groups with input from the employees from the participating restaurants, according to a press release from Darden Restaurants.
