Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Drive

Food to be collected on Oct. 27 to benefit the soup kitchen at Elijah's Promise

Elijah's Promise and Patch.com will host "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 in the parking lot of the TD Bank on Bayard Street.

The drive seeks donations of a number of nonperishable food items to stock the pantry of the Elijah's Promise Soup Kitchen, which serves meals twice a day to the homeless and impoverished of New Brunswick.

A truck will be on site at the bank to collect the items, which can be dropped right off in the lot. We hope to fill the truck by the end of the day with items that will benefit the clients of Elijah's Promise.
