The New World Order highlighted the Wednesday lunch hour with jazzy arrangements of bass, sax and drums during New Brunswick City Market's Summer Afternoons Music series. The free concert series is held from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays in Kilmer Square Park, located at the Corner of George Street and Albany Street. Admission is free and residents and workers are invited to come sit at tables and enjoy the music while eating their lunch. John B. Abbott, jazz and blues guitarist for the band, said The New World Order has been a group for about 15 years, and described the band as more of an "ensemble".
